unveiled the Ponds Femina Miss India 2013 crown, having joined hands with Ponds
Femina Miss India 2013 – India’s most trusted and respected beauty pageant – as
the Crown & Jewellery Partner.
Twenty Three gorgeous females from across India will walk the ramp to secure
the crown of Ponds Femina Miss India 2013, which has been exclusively crafted
by PC Jeweller.
The inspiration for the
Miss India Universe crown is India’s national bird – the Peacock. The centre
motif embodies the appearance of a peacock feather with a shimmering
juxtaposition of a pink pear-shaped stone shielded by a pave-set diamond bed –
a unique feature. The multi-coloured stones denote the colourful nature of the
winner and her versatile personality. The outer silhouette of the crown is akin
to a beautiful symphony played by pink diamonds and the rich yellow gold. The
large pink, pear-shaped stone at the top pays tribute to the gorgeous lady, a
leader and a winner in every sphere of life.

setting, this crown is five inches tall.
The Miss India pageant
signifies womanhood and symbolizes winners who have achieved an identity for
themselves. Similarly, the second runner-up crown has been inspired from the
journey that the winner undergoes to discover her distinctive individuality
amongst the crowd. With a plate-prong setting, the pink stone symbolizes the
honour and beauty the second runner-up deserves. This crown is four inches
tall.
Although every girl
making the finals is a winner of sorts, only one will wear the Miss India
Universe crown. In the next few days, the whole world will know who happens to
be that lucky girl.
